Correct water values are important for a healthy pond and fish. A poor water quality you could get problems with algae or even worse, sick fish and the plants will not grow! Therefore test your pond water before you intend to use it and adjust it if necessary. For existing ponds test in the spring and summer at least weekly or monthly for water values!
