Correct total hardness (GH) and carbonate hardness (KH) are essential for the proper operation of your pond. In the closed pond environment, the water becomes demineralised due to processes such as biological filtration and absorption by plants and animals. With periodic addition of Balantex to the pond water, you can maintain the water parameters at the right level and provide the basis for a clear, healthy pond. Balantex also contains 18 different vitamins and minerals to enhance the health of your fish. If the GH or KH is too low, first use Colombo GH+ and/or KH+ to adjust the values to the right level. After this, use Balantex to stabilise the levels.
